A Letter from our CEO: The Art of Defiance

You might have noticed there is a theme here. We are not the business you might remember downtown in the old city hall mall. That business belonged to another time and place. When people walked and worked downtown. When women wore stilettos. That business closed the day I walked in on February 1, 2016. The name changed. The product changed. The environment changed. The attitude changed.
My name is Lynn and I am the CEO. I make every decision. And I like the colour pink. I wrote a book called “How to be a Pink Flamingo in a Brown Duck Pond” that is about the art of defiance.
ZÖE means life. It is a reflection of who we are NOW.
1. We sell shoes that you can actually wear without destroying your feet.
2. We sell clothes as investment pieces that meet my criteria for fashion and sustainability.
3. We support slow and sustainable fashion production.
4. We are a reseller of clothing, shoes and objects.
5. We are a yoga studio.
I know it’s a lot to take in, but that’s who we are. We are a lot. And we are for women who are a lot too. Women who lead, who take risks, who take care of themselves and who invest in themselves.
We’re not for everyone. But everyone isn’t who we set out to serve.
We set out to serve women who have paid their dues and know what it means to stand up and stand out in a world that wishes we were invisible.
