September Reflections

September Reflections

Today I am sitting on a rock overlooking a lake. The water is gently rippling quietly, shimmering in the sunlight. There’s a slight breeze that’s gently fluttering the leaves. This September I am looking forward to new beginnings and celebrating all the great memories and gifts that the past decade has given me as a business owner.

Over the past 10 years as a shoe store lover and owner, and as a lover of shoes, I have been witness to all of the stories of my customers. All the places you’ve been. All the stories of your lives. Babies being born, children going off to school, new beginnings, sad endings.

Owning a shoe store is more about the stories of our lives and less about the shoes, but there is something to be said for being able to look down at your feet and feeling that foundation underneath you and knowing that you are supported.

September is a crossroad for me as I celebrate the birth of a brand new grandchild in another province and new opportunities from a business perspective that will give me the flexibility to grow and to be with my children and grandchildren through all the steps of their lives.

So in August, I initiated a very big sale which is still ongoing. I’d like to thank my customers who have already taken advantage of this great opportunity to own a piece of my very curated and loved collection of shoes and beautiful clothing.

I hope you take the time to explore what we have in store for you to get you to where you’re going. We are open in Cathedral and online all the time, and we’re happy to help you take your next steps. Sincerely, Lynn.
